ARES - SYSTEM OF CAR RECYCLING IF AMBIT COMPANY

Goals

   All of us are interested in environment, in which we live and its influence on our life. Each activity towards protection and restoring of primary environment is accepted positively. AMBIT Company has decided to implement in practice in Poland regulations of the EU Directive No 2000/53 EC for cars completing their period of use.
We would like to show by means of rapid activity and efficient organization how recycling problems should be solved. We wish they would be the Polish contribution to solve the problem of car recycling in the European Union.

We understood, that activity of our company would not be sufficient. Therefore system enables to combine many dismantling stations. We do our best, those stations would the best ones. We do hope, that number of dismantling stations linked with ARES system will increase adequately to number of scrapped cars in Poland.

Description

   ARES is the system offering full range of service and possibilities in the first line of actions between car users and industry enabling effective use upon period of exploitation of units, parts, materials of each car.

We act in order to limit utilization of natural resources, such as raw materials, power engineering media and cash resources of persons using cars.

ARES system includes dismantling stations of settled environment protection standard.
Relations of stations are base on regulations describing developed station operation model. Each station creates own network of car collection from the customer depending on own requirements.

Dismantling stations use uniform software:
• supporting car collection and establishing of data register for collected cars,
• documenting next subsequent stages of dismantling process,
• making easier managing of warehouses,
• establishing data base on units, parts, materials obtained from process.
Databases of dismantling stations are linked with Internet links. They ensure access to data in entire network adequately to interest of our customers.

They enable to create reports using information from combined databases.

We offer for individual customers:
• collection of vehicles withdrawn from exploitation without charges.
• issuing of certificates on vehicle taking over to dismantling station required to be cancelled,
• purchase of post-accidental vehicles,
• transport of vehicles from parking station to dismantling station,
• sale of dismantled parts including regenerated ones,
• parking of damaged cars as the result of accidents.
for institutions:
• collection of vehicles defined by EU Directive No EC 2000/53 for makes and car importers,
• periodical preparation of reports with information provided by Directive No 2000/53 EC for governmental and scientific institutions and council administration. Access to register of scrapped vehicles in network.
• collection of completely exploited cars from sales promotion campaigns with recycling slogans in Poland from makes and importers,
• gathering of information and preparation of reports on technical condition of parts and units after exploitation period for car makes,
• collection from institutions and scrapping of completely exploited, damaged cars as stipulated in law on scrap materials from the territory of Poland,
• supplies of parts for cheap repairs and lower car insurance rates.

We provide the highest in Poland conformity with requirements of Ministry of Environment and occur to information from computer linked to Internet.

We are convinced that modernity of used tools; lack of limitation for any extended system, increase of offer attractiveness together with system activity area enables its use in scale bigger than national wide.

Achievements

ARES system was implemented by AMBIT Company in December 2000. Now, system includes activity of twelve stations in the whole territory of our country. Those stations were equipped with necessary hardware and computer software improving organization of labour and increasing sales by providing information on parts in Internet.

Database on parts from dismantling in Internet includes 100 000 parts. It is connecting continuously. Approximately 100 new items are coming everyday.

We are still modernizing our system in order to make operation easier to improve effectiveness of searching for the parts and development of information range as well as possibility of our website www.ambit.pl.

According to information, we have, we are the second country in Europe after Sweden offering access to Internet for cheap dismantled parts displaced in many stations. That makes ARES system in the series of the best complex solutions also in the European scale.

We initiate to the extent of our activity to ministries, insurance institutions, car makes and importers. We undertake efforts that recycling problems find proper place in subject matters of information media.

Dismantling stations acting in system are active members of Car Recycling Association - FORS.

We hope, that we shall be perceived as the authentic partners to solve problems concerning environment protection and automotive industry of our country.

To Dismantling Station!

We invite herewith the best dismantling stations in Poland to cooperate with us.
Cooperation in this system is based on stable mutually worked out principles. Those principles were set up during over one and half year cooperation of 10 first stations. Voluntary connection in ARES system includes all areas of station activity:
- We tray to obtain cars for dismantling.
- All of us use one information system supporting receiving, dismantling, managing parts, units, materials, waste materials.
- We use mutually browser enabling to present in Internet parts and units collected in warehouses comprised by ARES system for the wide circle of customers in Poland and worldwide.
- Files of stations included to ARES system are visible in TUiR WARTA’s browser, which present them as the purchasing source for post-accidental repair workshops.
- We conduct in more and more wide range sale of materials and waste materials through the station, which obtains the highest prices for relevant material.
- We are preparing mutual sale of materials and single dismantling stations can obtain waste materials at the prices higher than.
- We exchange ourselves experience at cyclic mutual meetings of the stations included into ARES system.
- We started to organize trainings concerning mutually agreed subject matters.
- We do not introduce restrictions due to size of conducted activity. Among us, we have dismantling stations of the biggest number of processed cars in Poland and the smallest profitable number of processed cars in Poland.
- Through cooperation we facilitate beginning of activity as dismantling station and we help to increase effectiveness of already operating stations.
- We have also limitations and we take care of environment protection and we fight against syndromes of grey zone activity.

We would like to complete system by 10 network stations. Stations from provinces, in which we have no dismantling station cooperating with us, will be preferred. We kindly ask you to mail forms till September 2003. Decisions concerning choice of 10 stations will be made till October 31, 2003. We are planning to equip new stations with servers, train the staff and implement system till the end of this year.
